My name is Samir Khanal and I am the founder of Haamro Notes, an educational website that helps Class 10 students in Nepal with their studies. I have always had a keen interest in the field of coding and software development, and I have learned a bit of coding from YouTube channels.
In 2021, while I was studying in Class 10 during the lockdown time, I decided to put my coding skills to use and develop a website that would help my peers with their studies. I established Haamro Notes along with three of my friends as a means of cheating first, but as we progressed through our studies, we realized the importance of understanding the material and not just memorizing it. We then decided to shift our focus from cheating to helping other students succeed in their studies by providing notes and solutions.
The website now offers a wide range of subjects, including English, Nepali, Social Studies, Maths, EPH, Science and many more. It also provides assistance through its Facebook page and group, as well as through YouTube. The website's aim is to help students move from darkness to light, providing them with the resources and support they need to excel in their studies.
I am proud to have developed Haamro Notes and to be able to use my coding skills to help others. It has been a rewarding experience to see the positive impact that the website has had on the academic success of Class 10 students in Nepal.
