Why do you love travelling? 

Travelling to different places let us enhance our knowledge and capture beautiful memories along with the trip. I love travelling. Whenever I get the holiday, I go for travelling. 

Where and how did you travel?

Last year, I had a trip to Ghalegaun along with my family. We went there via bus. We caught a bus to Lamjung in the early morning in the Butwal bus park. The next day, we reached Besisahar, headquarter of Lamjung. Ghalegaun is only 24 kilometres away from Besisahar. We reached there within 2 hours by jeep ride.

How was the place like?

We were very tired when we reached there. But the beautiful scenery made us forget all our pains and difficulties. We got mesmerized by the beautiful view of Ghale Gaun. The village was surrounded by green hills and high mountains. The clustered houses made up of mud and rock made the view even more breathtaking. 

What was your experience in that place?

The villagers welcomed us putting tika and offering garlands. We stayed there in a local homestay. People very very calm and friendly. They provided us with great hospitality and service that we never realised that we are far away from our house. It was like a second home to us. The food there was delicious. We all had typical Nepali meals like ato, dhindo, gundruk, sel roti, and so on. We also observed their beautiful culture. They performed various cultural dances like Ghatu, Rodhi, Maruni, etc as per our demand. We stayed there for a lot of days. The weather was quite good all over the period we stayed there. It was cool in the morning and evening whereas warm and soothing in the daytime.

What is your conclusion about the place?

We enjoyed ourselves a lot there. The beautiful scenery of Ghalegaun still flashes in my memory.
